Callifornia trip

We stopped to see Dan and Willy at their new Chiropractic Office in Apple Valley.
Having lunch together. Sheila, Alexis, Willy, Jo, Dan, and Halie in front.

My folks with Alexis.

Jo helped take some of the photos.

Four generations...Halie and Alexis, Sheila, me, and Grandma Twogood
I took Sheila, her girls, and Jo to see mom and dad...to introduce them to their newest great-grandchild. Picked Jo up in Las Vegas after a comfy night with her, saw Dan and Willy in Apple Valley, then spent a couple nights with mom and dad in El Centro. We got in on their church rummage sale, enjoyed a few games together, took some walks inspite of the wind and cooler temps, some even went for a quick swim in the pool, and enjoyed a couple delicious meals. Of course, with Sheila along, there was a visit to Emergency Sat. morning, when Alexis wouldn't stop crying, and wouldn't take a bottle for 8 hours...she was fine, just some excess gas that a little Tylenol and gas drops helped eleviate eventually. Naturally, while this was going on, Halie had a big blowout during the night, so I was up helping with that while Sheila dealt with the screamer. Thankfully, the rest of the time was much more pleasant.
We left Sunday morning to drop Jo off. Along the way around Blythe, we stopped to see some ancient earth drawings just off the highway. After dropping off Jo, we drove on to St. George to spend the night closer to home. We arrived home this afternoon after the storms had hit and melted.

More California trip

Jo suggested we stop and see these ancient earth drawings. This is the sign at the entrance.

Rosie's new home

Rosie closed on her house Wed. March 11, and they began moving in Thurs. Their address is 3486 Chambery Lane, Riverton, Ut., 84065. Large truck is David's "box van" that he uses for putting in shutters. He has a smaller van for taking measurements, and a large trailor for scraps. Unfortunately, the trailor is too wide to fit in the third garage, so will park on the side.

Taken yesterday, March 21, during a dinner break. Kristin and Tyler are sitting at the bar in the distance.

This weekend was a big one for the Buxton tribe. Sat. we trekked up to Garland for Christian Andersen's (Von's nephew Jared's son) baptism and confirmation. Great turn-out, and a special spirit felt, which has nearly always been the case for me when attending these events. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch together afterwards at Loralee's church hall. We brought Norma Ann home with us and took in an intense action-packed movie, "Taken". She slept over with us to attend our grandaughter's, Alexis, blessing this morning at Jon and Sheila's church. Many came, and all of Von's siblings were here. We all squeezed together into Sheila and Jon's house for a little breakfast afterwards. Fun mingling with family and friends for a couple days. See photos on Norma Ann's blog listed on the side, and others who were able to take photos.
