messed up

Von had a little fender bender a week ago, coming out of a gas station driveway. Another driver tried to beat him out of the driveway. Neither of them made it. Truck is in the shop getting new doors.

On the slope!

Sheila, Jon, Halie, Kristin, Tyler, Camron, Cujo and I spent a few hours on a favorite hill last Sat. afternoon. Temps were finally above freezing. In fact it was warm enough to ditch the jackets and hats towards the end of the day.

Kristin on her first run.
Camron on his first run.

Kristin and Camron together.

Jon and Halie, Tyler crashed in the distance.
Everybody on the hill.

Halie's first run alone!

Sheila and Jon about to crash into me!

Sheila and Camron going backwards.

Tyler going off the ramp.

Jon and Cujo, who could run down as fast as a sled.

Notice the missing gear?

Camron being creative.

Alexis is 1!

Sheila and Jon's little one turned 1 January 13, and we had a fun party for her at our church.

With grandpa Harry.

With Aunt Rosie and cousins.

Other friends and family.

We played musical chairs.

Tyler and Camron were the last to battle it out.

There was a balloon relay. Of course none of the kids were heavy enough to pop the balloons, so there was some cheating from behind.

Lexi started off on the pinata.

Others excited to have a turn.

Superman Tyler took care of it, of course.

Then there were presents.

Jon and his brother arrived near the end.

Then there was cake and ice cream. Not sure what to do here.

There she goes!

David and William are 30!

Happy 2010, everyone! We enjoyed New Years Eve with all the Robinsons and friends, with the usual food, games, basketball and dodgeball at Rosie and David's church hall.
One week later Rosie and Sara (William's wife), threw a surprise party for their husband's 30th birthdays. Family, friends and neighbors crowded into Rosie's dark house until the twins came through the back door from a day and dinner in Park City with their wives.

Surprise! David and William with the hat. They were most surprised that so many were there!
Some were from the old neighborhood they grew up in.

The scene in the house. David's dad and grandpa sitting on the couch.

The traditional cheesecakes.
