Jordan's birth day

I finally have all the photos assembled from 3 different cameras to pick my favorites!
Tuesday April 19 finally arrived, ending Sheila's trying pregnancy sagas, and marking the birth of our last grandchild, Jordan Tyson Ihnen, 6 pounds 12 onces, and 19 inches.

Sheila, Jon and her doctor in background, prior to a C-section delivery.

On their way into the delivery room.

Jon with Jordan shortly after delivery.

Sheila, Jon and Jordan getting acquainted.

Some skin-to-skin to help stimulate Jordan's breathing. He had some fluid in his lungs and struggled a little at first. He was soon taken to the nursery for several hours of monitoring.

Nursing proved difficult, but the bottle worked fine.

A much happier baby.

New family of five!

Big sister, Lexi (2). Actually reverent for a few seconds!

Very happy sister, Halie (almost 6).

Proud grandpa, Von Tyson. Jordan has his middle name.

Relieved and grateful grandma.

Sheila's friend Becky and her fiance, David, recently engaged, with Jordan.
