Last night together 2011

We gathered one more night for food and games before Dave and family headed home to Nebraska for New Years.

Merry Christmas 2011!

Christmas Eve at home...read the Christmas Story to Halie and Lexi, and put out the nativity.

"All is calm, all is bright"

The stockings were hung, and cookies and milk prepared for St. Nick.

The children opened their new jammies before bedtime.

Christmas morning! After attending church, Sheila and family, and Von and I began opening gifts.

It was a happy time with all of our children and grandchildren. We thank the Lord for these wonderful blessings.

Nativity 2011

Our family was asked to perform the nativity this year at the Odeen Buxton Christmas party, hosted by Dale and Sue and family at a community hall in Oakley, Ut., where we met 4 years ago.

I lead the singing, and Dale was the Narrator, reading from Luke and Matthew.

Jon and Sheila were Joseph and Mary.

Camron, Tyler, and David were shepherds, then wisemen in scene two.

Lexi, Kristin, and Halie were angels in scene one.

Rosie was stage manager. Here she is providing "and the glory of the Lord shone round about them".

Shepherds made haste to find the babe in the manger. Pretty cute that he's sitting up in the manger! He's almost 8 months!

Wisemen who followed the star (Kristin) to where the young child was, offering their gifts.
