Grandma's playstation

I got to tend all but Maren one evening and overnight. We started with an obstacle course in the back yard, which Sheila headed up.
Tyler's run. One of his runs wound up with a trip and fall from one pool to the other, after Sheila
doing the same thing during her demo!

Hayden's careful run.

Camron also going carefully.

Kristin went the fastest, of course, and lead the way for Halie.

From the back yard, we loaded up and headed for a favorite park with the hill we sled down in winter, and roll down in the summer.

Tyler and Hayden having a go.

Tyler somersaulting.

Camron went pretty fast.

Halie and Tanner on the big slide.

Sheila, Kristin, Tanner on the wiggly slide.

Trying to make a train.

Back to the house for some play dough fun, and eventual sleepover.

Breakfast together.

A fun sleepover for grandma and all my grandkids.

July 4th weekend

Yes, we did the "C" word, as Von calls it now. He's not a camping fan, but he went along with it this time, since I allowed him to rent a pop-up trailer. Nephew Blair invited family to gather in the Heber mountain area at a primative camping area called Doc Flat, near the Strawberry Reservoir.
Von and Sheila enjoying some Phase 10.

Halie and I took an early morning hike to the top of the camping area. What was I thinking!

Nan always ready for 4-wheeling and possible accidents it appears.

Our group site from the kids favorite play area on the hill.

After camping, we met up at Sheila's for some fireworks, or "candles" as Halie calls them.

Alexis' first 4th of July!
