Easter 2012 in Nebraska!

Von and I treated ourselves to a trip to Nebraska to visit son Dave and family during their Spring Break when the kids were out of school.

We got a couple kites for the kids to fly one afternoon. Tanner flying his. Maren and Makenna had flown theirs earlier with my help.

We took the boys birthday shopping..both have April birthdays. We spoiled them just a titch!

They're currently into Pokemon cards and have quite a collection of them now.

More March Happenings 2012

Grandson Jordan 11 months, and close to walking.

His sister Lexi, 3, started pre-school, and is loving it!

Big sister Halie, almost 7! Sheila has begun the era of getting two girls ready for school.

Von and I drove up to his sister's home in Tremonton to celebrate their mother's birthday

with the traditional taco supper, birthday cake and ice cream (yum!), then visited the family grave afterwards. His mother died in 1999, and would have been 87 this month.

Aaron Buxton baptized

Von's nephew, Blake Buxton's son, Aaron, was baptised March 3. Halie went with Von and me for the important event. I played piano, Nan gave her signature talk on the Holy Ghost, and Blake confirmed Aaron. The stepfather baptised him, another aunt gave a talk on baptism, and another cousin sang a solo. Nice brunch afterwards at their church.

Snow at last!

First of March, and snow came to stay for a few days, maybe! Halie couldn't wait to get out on the slopes.
