A view one late September day from our Oquirrh Mountain Temple.
Jordan and his boy toy...a John Deere!
Von and I attended my 40th BYU class reunion Oct. 11-12. This was the second night, a banquet and program in the Sky room of the Wilkinsen Student Center. During the meal each of us (about 25)stood up and related what we've done since leaving BYU. Probably the most unique was the oldest of us, at 75, the first to join our church in New Delhi, India. Spencer Kimball baptized him, then arranged for his education at BYU. He graduated in Sociology, then wrote a book about leadership in the world. There was a state senator, a couple former folk dancers, a lawyer, and several who served in the military during Vietnam...one a paratrooper and deep sea diver. Many of us met our spouses while at BYU and married just after graduation.
See me? Always interesting who we run into at reunions...Brent Nelsen pictured in color with the dog, went to Bear River High and new Dale. He joined the Navy, then the Air Force (dentist), and retired at McConnell AFB, KA, where his children are. We met him and wife the first night at a reception at the Marriott Hotel in Provo, and sat with them and the class during the BYU Spectacular Show at the Marriott Center on campus (dancers, jazz band, Vocal Point, Young Ambassadors, Cougarette drill team...fantastic!) However, Brent's wife developed chest pains before the banquet, and last communication she was in the hospital a second day for tests.
Rosie and David are making plans to move in to this new town house way out in Herriman, Ut.
They are pretty literally at the foot of this mountain. They have no yard, but there's a bike trail right behind their house, and plenty of area to explore.
Their house is on Edgemere Dr.

Rosie in her kitchen.
David, Jon and Sheila in the living room. House is probably half the size of their current house, but has ample room for the 5 of them. 3 bedrooms 2 baths, and laundry upstairs. Kitchen, eating area, living room on the main level, and large family room, half bath, and storage room in the basement (unfinished)
