Halie's First Grade Disney Concert

Halie with first grade classes before the program.
M-I-C, K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E!

Kids drew pictures that were lamenated to go with song, "What A Beautiful World".  Brought tears.
Halie had "the bright blessed day". Kids did great and were sharp on their cues. Cudos to the 4 teachers who put it together. We didn't realize how little they were until WE were standing up!

Father's Day 2012

 Von and his girls.
 Fathers and their posterity.
Fathers Day keep-away game.

40th Anniversary escape

40 years ago just married in front of Logan Temple, which has been greatly remodeled since then.  My mother is just coming out the door.  Grandfather Twogood is to left of her, and Granny Wright from N.C. is to right of Von.  None are LDS, but were there for our special day!
Since the remodel, the original front doors are no longer used.

Lunch up Logan Canyon afterwards.  Picnic site all to ourselves along the Logan River.

On the way home we stopped by to see how the new Brigham City Temple was coming along.  Looks done on the outside, and landscaping is going in.

Park City

Von  and I were invited to spend a night with Loralee and Nan in Park City, so took a little tour of the hotels in the area.

St. Regis Hotel.  You take this "Vinecular" (elevator on tracks) to the hotel.

 The view from the hotel.
The nice pool at the hotel.
A rather large and ritzi hotel..probably the largest up there.

Memorial Day Weekend 2012

Sheila wanted to camp at Cub River for her birthday, however, as soon as the tents were up, down came the rain and temps dipped to 37 degrees, adding a new layer of snow to the mountains.  We got in the car and drove around to get warm....saw a baby moose, some deer.  Still raining and cold when we got back to the campsite, so decided to head home.
On the way home, we stopped at the Bear River City cemetery to put flowers on Von's parents' grave.

At home, we celebrated Sheila's 31st with a backyard campout and barbecue.

Rosie brought her signature cake..she is now the family cake decorater.

 Kristin and the playdough.
Happy birthday to our baby girl!
