Medical day

This past Thursday, Sheila visited a dermatologist to check out this mole on her hairline. It was decided to have it removed there on the spot. It was taken care of. An interesting visit, in that we learned that Sheila's OB nurse who was there, was a temple worker on my Friday shift! And the dermatologist is a grandson of the late president Hinckley!
That was just the beginning of our medical journey for this day. That evening, Sheila (16 weeks pregnant) had some bleeding at home after a bathroom visit, so she was advised to go to the hospital and have it checked out. Four hours later, the bleeding was from her bowel, which will be further investigated after her pregnancy. They checked out the baby with an ultrasound and all is well. Sex was determined, but Sheila and Jon didn't want to know until Christmas. So, an envelope was given to Sheila with the results. I imagine she will let everyone know long before Christmas!
