November 2012!

I thought October went by fast, but November has beat them all!  I better get this down before December gets here!  Fall was beautiful this year, my Norway Maple outdid itself.  And the colors out back were spectacular!

Kristin celebrated her 12th birthday!  We gathered at Chuck-arama for dinner together. She is such a delightful person, and maintains that cheery disposition, complete with a twinkle in her eye and dimples to boot!
Thanksgiving was spent at Loralee and Heber's house in Tremonton, since Von was up there for the week taking caring of his sister, Norma Ann, who had a knee-replacement Nov. 12.
Loralee and Heber's children, Leandra and Jared.  Always fun to be with them.
Von's sister, Norma Ann, with Jared's wife Kellie and son, Corbin.
 Von and Viv
 Jon, Jordan, and Sheila
 Leandra's husband, Brian.
Leandra and Brian's daughter, Brilee, with Lexi and Halie outside on the tramp.
Jared and Loralee with Jared's children, Corbin and Kaitlyn.

Corbin and Jordan, just a couple months apart.  Look at those eyes!
Kaitlyn posing for the upcoming Nativity video.
Nan feeling pretty good with one knee done.  She hopes to do the other Dec. 3.

Other highlights of the month included Von's left ear procedure.  We won't know how successful it was for a while, as far as being able to hear better.  We both began teaching  the 14-15 year-old Sunday School class.  We took in the Kearns High School musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrals, since a class member had a lead roll.  Another class member received her YW Recognition Medalion along with her mother.  I played organ at a funeral for a member of our ward.  Our Oquirrh Mountain Temple presidency changed, after 3 years.  We made it out to see the recent James Bond movie, Skyfall, as well as Breaking Dawn 2.  I finally found a ukulele teacher for Camron, and he seems to like it.  Kristin and Tyler continue to take piano with me, along with 5 other students in my ward.  Halie got her first pair of glasses and loves wearing them.  And last but hardly least...Rosie and David have moved into their new town home out in Herriman, as far south as you can go in the Salt Lake valley!  I'm sure I've left out something!  We definitely have counted our blessings this month, and are grateful for many things.
